NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

MARCH 29, 2024  •  POWDER MOUNTAIN

  • TetraSki & Snow’Kart Alpine race

  • Epic Ski Party

  • Fabulous Fundraiser

The 2024 Brian McKenna TetraSki Express will host the National Championship in TetraSki and Snow’Kart downhill racing. The full-day race and celebration takes place on Friday, March 29, 2024 at the breathtaking Powder Mountain Resort in Eden, UT. This event is open to the public for viewing, cheering and celebration.

Sadly, we were forced to cancel the 2023 event because of once-in-a-decade wintery snow conditions. But we’re coming back in 2024, full steam ahead!

The 2024 event features adaptive ski racers utilizing the innovative Tessier Snow’Kart and the renowned TetraSki, the world's only independent alpine ski for people with complex physical injury or disease, developed at the University of Utah.

The TetraSki Express is named in honor of the indelible Brian McKenna — son, brother, friend, coworker and TetraSki athlete who redefined what was possible.

The Brian McKenna TetraSki Express is hosted by TRAILS Adaptive (Technology, Recreation, Access, Independence, Lifestyle, Sports) at the University of Utah Health’s Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital.

Let’s celebrate and support the international development and distribution of equipment and programs that enable the highest level of performance independence for people with complex physical injury or illness!
