General Information
WEATHER
End of March can bring any type of weather to Utah. Prepare for winter conditions and bring all of your ski clothing including helmet, goggles, winter boots. We have limited gear supplies available if you are unable to bring your own.
LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
Traveling programs and their athletes must book local transportation on their own. Accessible vans have been reserved for the TetraSki race, however you must mention the TetraSki Race when booking. PRACTICE DAYS
There are two practice days and TRAILS crew will create the schedule for the days and communicate it with the teams. This schedule is subject to change.
MEALS
There is a Wednesday night (March 25) athlete dinner hosted by TRAILS. Practice day lunch at venue is provided by event organizer. Snacks available during practice times. Breakfast/snacks and lunch available at the venue on morning of the race.
EQUIPMENT TRANSPORTATION & MAINTENANCE
TRAILS will transport all equipment throughout the week. TetraSkis will be appropriately stored and charged overnight. Ski waxing and tuning opportunities for coaches is available at the TRAILS warehouse. Engineer assistance is available for troubleshooting throughout the week.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
The following is a list of hotels in the Ogden area that athletes/programs may book on their own. Airbnb options also are available in the Eden, UT area.
We have personally walked through each hotel to ensure they are up to our standards and provide enough space for power chairs. Some of the rooms have tubs while others have roll in showers. We will ensure transfer benches are available for those that need them. Guests must cancel reservations by 6pm, FIVE days prior to arrival.
Cancellations after the policy will result in the guest forfeiting the first night’s room and tax.
